Dear Resellers,
The restoration fee will be increased by $10 for the TLD’s listed below on Friday 26th March 2010.
This is because it has been noticed that although a domain is restored and renewed, our charge from the registry and platform provider does not cover the renewal.

Multi Year Pricing for Customers
In the coming months LB will be introducing Multi Year Pricing; a feature that allows you to incentivize Customers to purchase Products for multiple years. This feature will be available to both you and your Resellers.
With the current set up, your Customers are charged the same amount regardless of the number of years the Product is purchased for. Using this feature, you will be able to set a different price based on the number of years the Product is purchased for and hence tempt Customers to purchase Products for a longer period. For instance, if you are offering .COM Domains @ $10 for a single year, you will now be able to charge a Customer $90 for a 10 year registration instead of a fixed fee of $100.
There are several advantages of multiple year purchases such as:
Customer Slabs:
To be able to integrate the Multi Year Pricing feature, LB will first need to modify the implementation for Customer Slabs. As part of this process, LB will be removing the ability to create new Customer Slabs in the Control Panel. This will be implemented between the 15th and 19th of March, 2010.
Resellers who have already set Customer Slabs will not be affected by this change as of now and their slabs will remain as is.
Completely Private-labeled Email Hosting (Discontinuation of ‘Mail.pw’)
Based on the feedback gathered from Resellers, LB are making their Email Hosting Product completely private-labeled once again. This change will be conducted between the 20th and 24th of March, 2010. The ‘Mail.pw’ branding will be completely removed and replaced with the white-labeled/private-labeled URLs listed below:
New URLs and Branding:
Impact on Email Hosting Orders post the 20th:
Existing Orders not using our DNS Services: For such orders, you will need to add a set of DNS records to avail of the private-labeled Email Hosting Services. We will send across the necessary information to the affected accounts shortly.
Nominet will shortly be allowing the linking of domain name registrations to reseller information. This will allow the reseller information to be shown in WHOIS and also later this year in emails to registrants (from Nominet).
In preparation of this, please go to https://ukreseller.advancedregistrar.co.uk/, input your ‘ResellerID’ (number), ‘Username’ and ‘Password’. These are the same details used to login to your control panel.
This then loads your default “Support information” as per the domain control panel.
The reference number cannot be changed, however everything else can be. The defaults are already populated to save a little time, however feel free to change anything you want to. Nominet has not stipulated what characters can be used, therefore for the “avoidance of doubt” please assume the following characters as acceptable; A-Z, a-z, 0-9, ), ( and a dash/hyphen (-).
Click Save details at the bottom to save your details for Nominet. You can update this information any time you wish, by going back to the URL above and logging in. We do not store your password, we validate directly against the LogicBoxes platform.
If you have resellers, and you would like them to also have this feature (we would as it means it is branded to them) then please give them the above information.
New promotion pricing until the end August 2010.
This is applicable to NEW registrations only, NOT renewal or transfer and FIRST year of registration only.
So the pricing:
New registration of a .ASIA domain will be $9.95 if you setup your selling price in the Promo engine to be less than $19.95, more than that would mean a buy price of $11.95.
To setup the promo engine go here : http://manage.netearthone.com/kb/servlet/KBServlet/faq1009.html
This promotion will AUTOMATICALLY end on 31st August 2010, at midnight GMT, please make sure you make a note of this date to remove the promotion if you are using a third party billing application.
We have dropped our ASIA pricing to be more competitive in line with other reseller focused registrars!
New, renew and transfers are all treated the same:
Tier 1 $13.95
Tier 2 $13.49
Tier 3 $12.99
Tier 4 $12.75
Tier 5 $12.49
Restore of $75 has not changed.
Please make sure you update your pricing on this.
