Radix Pricing revisions 1st August 2023

Radix has communicated that they will increase the pricing of various nTLDs on 1st August 2023.

Therefore NEO will be increasing its pricing of the below TLDs on Monday 31st July 2023 at 2200 BST.

Some of the pricing below as you can see shows a significant percentage increase.

These prices will be for registration, renewal and transfer.

Verisign Price Increase for .COM gTLD

Verisign has communicated that they will increase the pricing of the .COM gTLD on 1st September 2023 at 0400 UTC.

Therefore NEO will be increasing its pricing of .com on Thursday 31st August 2023 at 2200 BST.

The pricing will increase by 0.82c per year of registration, renewal or transfer across all tiers.

Restoration will increase by $1 to $67.00 which includes a 1-year renewal.

Important: System maintenance notice for performance improvement

As part of LogicBoxes continued efforts to keep improving their platform stability, they will be upgrading theie PostgreSQL version in one of their databases servers. This change will entail a planned downtime on certain services for 24 hours starting on 15th April, 2023 06:30hrs GMT until 16th April, 2023 06:30hrs GMT .

During this maintenance window the following services will be affected –

Actions that cannot be performed:

1. List Archived Transactions 
2. List Archived Actions in the View Order Page along with the API call to fetch archived actions 
3. Search deleted orders 
4. All Bulk actions 
5. CSV Reports 
6. Add on purchases for an existing Server Hosting Order

Actions that will be queued:

1. Renewal of Domains 
2. Deletion of Domains and Hosting Order

Any actions stuck during this maintenance window will be automatically processed post-completion of the maintenance.

They are making this change to provide:

* Better performance 
* Better security 
* Better functionality

Identity Digital (Donuts) pricing increase, .INFO and .MOBI

On the 17th January 2023 @ 1700UTC Identity Digital (Donuts) is increasing the wholesale pricing of the following 2 TLDs that NEO sells:

INFO and MOBI.

The NEO pricing will increase at the exact amount of the registry price increase on 17th January 2023 at 1200UTC, thus;

INFO will increase by $1.40 for REG/REN/TRAN

MOBI will increase by $2.60 for REG/REN/TRAN

Restoration of .info will be an extra $2.00, which includes a renewal.

Restoration of .mobi will be an extra $3.00, which includes a renewal.

Verisign price increase for .NET gTLD

Verisign has communicated that they will increase the pricing of the .NET gTLD on 1st February 2023 at 0400 UTC.

Therefore NEO will be increasing its pricing of .net on Tuesday 31st January 2023 at 2200 UTC.

The pricing will increase by 0.90c across all tiers for registration, renewal or transfer.

Restoration will increase by $1.00 across all tiers which includes a 1-year renewal.

.IO immediate pricing update

As per our earlier blog post https://blog.netearthgroup.com/io-promotion/ this pricing should have been reverted back to normal pricing in December 2021, it was missed and as such has now been rectified.

The .IO registry although has a new promotion, has ended for renewal and transfers.  therefore with immediate effect, the pricing has been updated to:

Register : $42.00
Renewal : $49.95
Transfer : $49.95

There are numerous other updates over the next 2 days including increases for “.NET, .INFO and others”.  Promotions for Donuts TLDs, and we are working on the best way to provide this to you.  It may well end up in an excel spreadsheet so that you can import it into your own billing application (but lets wait and see).

Important announcement regarding LB Business and Enterprise Email

LB has always strived to provide you with the best products and services. In light of their recent study, they have noticed misuse of their Money-back guarantee policy that has the potential to impact email delivery and IP blacklisting of their email products. In order to maintain the quality of service you have come to expect from them, they will be removing their Money-back guarantee on their Business and Enterprise email products from 12th December 2022.

Customers who purchase Business or Enterprise Email on or after 12th December 2022, will no longer get the 30-day money-back guarantee.

We personally see this as a good step forward, as previously we have seen many LB IPs blacklisted because of accounts being setup and cancelled so quickly.

New TLD’s going live on NEO

We will be shortly adding the TLDs listed below, which will go live on Monday 15th June 2020.

As previously set, the platform will not be emailing individual signup emails (otherwise you would get spammed) and therefore we will be sending out an email on Monday 15th June to confirm they are live. If you have auto-signup enabled on your account, they will go live, otherwise, you will need to manually set them to “Sell” in NEO >> Settings >> Manage Products & Pricing >> Domain Registration >> Manage TLDs. You can then change the pricing as you wish, the automatic upsell amount is 10%.

LogicBoxes Scheduled maintenance on 15 March 2020 – updated

As a part of LB’s endeavours to constantly upgrade their platform, they will be performing constructive maintenance on the database. During this maintenance, they will be switching the Database WAL(write-ahead logging) level to logical. 

Affected Services : 

This update will have a direct impact on the Control Panel and API services. Hence, during the maintenance you may not be able to:

1) Access and manage your orders from the Orderbox Control Panel.
2) Purchase orders from the Supersite.
3) Access the CSV Reports portal.
4) Manage the domain forwarding service from the Domain Forwarding interface. 
5) Use the API service
6) Access the Whois service.

Though the scheduled maintenance window is of 30 minutes, you may face intermittent connectivity issues for around 5 minutes or less.

Their development team will be actively monitoring the system to ensure that there is minimal degradation of services.
