It would appear that the supersite/partnerstie/control panel is experiencing an issue at the data center, we will update this RS as and when.

 

1235 GMT the CP, supersite and partnersites are resolving again.

Background :

LB 10 days or so ago changed the Load balancers that are associated with the above management interface.

This has created some instances where resellers were unable to get to our CP, yet could get to for instance the ResellerClub CP.

 

Resolution:

Today (NOW) LB are reverting us to the old balancers which should put us back at the same position before the change that happened 2 weeks ago.

 

Estimated downtime : 30 mins

Upgrade of Kayako live chat/ticket software.

This coming Monday 14th November starting at 1200GMT through 1600GMT we will be performing an upgrade to the Kayako suite we use.  We expect the total time to be less than this time, but allowing for the full 4 hours just in case.

This we are told should rectify a problem we reported to Kayako about live chat responses not being shown / sent to the person on live chat.

In this time, all ticket emails will be placed on hold, we will complete this at the MTA level, you will not be able to talk to live chat either in this time.  Once we have completed the upgrade, held ticket emails will be sent to the support suite and therefore tickets will be created.

 

1600GMT :-  Upgrade complete.

Background :

LogicBoxes have informed us they are moving our IP to different servers, this means a short downtime.

The date and time for the migration is –
Date : November 03, 2011.
Time : GMT 09:30 A.M. / IST 03:00 P.M.

Length of time : 30 mins

 

This will not affect the API, this only affects manage.netearthone.com

Registry Price Increase

VeriSign registry price increase com / net

Following notification from VeriSign, on January 15th 2012 the price for COM and NET is again increasing.

VeriSign is increasing its pricing to ALL registrars as per their notice to us and ICANN.

.COM will increase by 51 cents USD

.NET will increase by 46 cents USD

This will be across all tiers and is the EXACT amount that VeriSign are increasing by.

We will update the pricing on the platform as of January 14th 23:55 GMT/UTC
